Hello There!

I'm Chandler Elizabeth, a twenty-eight year old Jersey girl with a penchant for words. I drink way too much caffeine and I laugh until I cry on a regular basis. Welcome to my blog, where you'll read about the wonderful ramblings of my life.

If you're looking for a blog with organized content and some sort of purpose, you're in the wrong place. I ramble on in sometimes incoherent sentences because that's how they come out of my brain. I don't proofread... except for spelling mistakes. I write like I talk, which sometimes means interjecting random tidbits of information in the middle of a story.

I'm all for transparency and I believe that if I'm going to share my life with the whole world via internet, it's worth mentioning that my mental health is not always stable. I struggle with anxiety on a daily basis and depression from time to time. I have learned to trust mental health professionals throughout this journey, and I'm still learning to trust myself.

My life got flipped upside down when I had a panic attack at work my first year teaching. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to the person I was before that. And I'm learning that has to be okay.

I'm head over heels in love with boxing right now -- and no, not kickboxing. Though there is nothing wrong with kickboxing. I mean like Rocky style boxing, except replace the other guy with a 100lb heavy bag.

I love Jeep Wranglers and messy hair. I wish we could live everyday like an endless summer. I live for beach days and I dance in the rain. I'm a stealer of covers. I'm fiercely loyal and as stubborn as they come. I'm a fast walker, fast talker, and fast driver.

I'm in a complicated relationship with traveling and currently live in North Carolina.

I'm a dreamer with an incredibly big heart, that I wear on my sleeve. I'm not afraid to say what I think, but I'll never intentionally hurt someone's feelings.

I believe in: mix-matched socks, coffee any time of day, honesty (even when it hurts), laughing at yourself, and proper grammar. I prefer: music live and photographs in black and white. I'm a collector of quotes and good purple pens. To me the three best smells are fresh coffee, old books, and the air right after it rains.

If you want to know more, send me a message. I love to write almost as much as I love to talk!
